Sixth Cross Forum Meeting
March 26, 2008, scholars, experts, and relevant managing heads from FuTURE China, mITF Japan, NGMC Korea, and WWRF gathered together to have their sixth Cross Forum Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. During the meeting, they reviewed issues discussed in ITU-R WP5D meeting in Geneva about the progress on IMT-Advanced system standardization and R&D activities, exchanged views on the future development of mobile communication technology, as well as future areas to strengthen cooperation among the four forums. On be half of the FuTURE Forum, Mr. Wanghu from HuaWei gave speech on Evaluation of Candidate IMT-Advanced RITs; Ms.Guanhao from Nokia Siemens presented technology building blocks for future systems from radio resource management aspect.
